THOMSONDavid Unexpectedly after a short illness David lost his fight for life on Wednesday, 2nd August 2017 at Scunthorpe General Hospital, he was aged 69 years. Loving and devoted Husband of 46 years to Isobel. Proud and supportive Dad to Sue and Ross. Caring Father-in-law to Simon and Carrie-Anne. Adoring and much loved Grandad to Lilly and Rory. Brother to Anne and a good friend to many. Would friends please meet at Woodlands Crematorium, Scunthorpe on Tuesday the 15th of August 2017 at 14.00 for service and committal Family flowers only please but donations would be gratefully accepted For a charity of David's choice. So sad to hear this. Remembering David as great school governor, listening to him speak to the children with wit and enthusiasm will stay with me. But more so remember seeing his devotion to his wife and his great sense of humour. RIP Lesley Liddle
